Design Phase

Initial Discussion

As soon as we hear from you, our first port of call is to gain an overarching understanding of your outdoor project. In a simple phone conversation, we’ll gather all the essential information, from where you’re located to how much you’re looking to invest in your landscape. Our initial discussion is a crucial step toward seeing whether we can build a partnership together.

Design Consultation

Our expert design team will sit down with you in a face to face meeting to dig deeper into the details of your project. As the landscape we design for you will draw heavily on your personality, it’s very important for us to fully grasp your vision and your preferences. By fleshing out your requirements, we can design an innovative space that fulfils your ideal outdoor lifestyle.

Project Proposal

We integrate your personal style with the architecture of your home and the latest trends to create a fresh landscaping design that realises your vision. With more than 20 years’ experience, our team knows how to create a design that will work within your space and your budget. Your project proposal will include 3D imagery of the finished project as well as cost estimates.

Design Finalisation

When we present you with your project proposal, you’ll have the opportunity to provide us with your thoughts. Working together to fine-tune the design, we’ll continue to advise you on how to get the most effective results. As soon as the design is finalised and we receive your seal of approval, it’s time to enter the construction phase of your landscaping project.

Construction Phase

Council Approvals

While not all landscaping projects will require council approval, those that include swimming pools, carports, sheds, patios, decking, fencing, retaining walls and other outdoor structures may require a permit. At Revell Landscaping, we can also handle all of your council applications and engineering.

Once your local council has given us the go ahead, we will hold a pre-start meeting to prepare you for the construction process. You will discover what to expect throughout the duration of construction and will be able to make your colour and material selections for the various features of your landscape design.

Site Preparation

If you already have existing structures in your backyard, we will need to arrange for demolition work to be performed. Even if your outdoor area is currently a blank slate, it’s likely that some form of siteworks will need to be undertaken to prepare for your project

Walls & Structures

Our first step is to build any foundational structures, such as cabanas, fencing, retaining walls, water features and other major components of your outdoor living area.

Reticulation & Lighting

Next, we take care of your irrigation and electrical needs, ensuring we have everything in place before we begin to add to the structural work.

Paving & Decking

Once all the facilities are set up, we can start to lay the groundwork, creating paved areas, decking and pathways as per the landscape design

Ongoing Maintenance

Once your landscaping project reaches completion, you’ll have the opportunity to opt in for a landscaping maintenance package. We can put together a maintenance service that suits your specific needs to ensure your outdoor area continues to look good all year round.
