Kalamunda Modern Classic Space

In August 2017, Revell Landscaping proudly created the most beautiful modern classic outdoor space in Kalamunda.

The brief initially seemed potentially challenging to balance in theory, however, with some creative thinking and planning, a beautiful contemporary space was created.

The client also asked for a privacy screening option for the pool level of their space as well as retaining wall solutions. It was crucial to make both effective and economical use of the available land.

The layout comprises of multi-tiered front yard open spaces that fully complement the natural surroundings of the bush reserve. Relaxing in the luxurious upper pool is made all the better with a clear and unrestricted vista of the valley. The pool area is low maintenance with a green space for the children to play. The carefully thought-out feature walling behind the pool boasts a quality finish alongside the flush decking levels around the water. In addition, there are well-integrated utility services for the pool along with clear aspect and incorporated glass pool fencing.

Key design features include a versatile pool level that’s close to the house decking level, feature wall tiling to the outer pool wall, maximized open lawn areas with thoughtfully laid out retaining walls to make the most of the area available. There is also feature masonry privacy walling to pool level with feature slots for a contemporary touch. The travertine-paved pathways that follow ground-level contours along the driveway add a beautiful natural dimension for pedestrians.
